Ժոզեֆ Ալբեր Քեշիշյան (ֆրանսերեն արտասանութամբ՝ ​ [Keʃiʃian], մարտի 15, 1954(1954-03-15), Բեյրութ, Լիբանան), ամերիկահայ քաղաքագետ, Մերձավոր Արևելքի ինստիտուտի ավագ գիտաշխատող, Kéchichian & Associates ընկերության նախագահ։ 2006-ից մինչև 2011 թվականը ներառյալ եղել է Օմանի Սուլթանության հյուպատոսը Լոս Անջելեսում (Կալիֆոռնիա)։

Կենսագրություն

Քեշիշյանը 1985 թվականին արտաքին հարաբերությունների բնագավառի ուսումնասիրությունների դոկտորի աստիճան է ստացել Վիրջինիայի համալսարանում, որտեղ այնուհետև դասավանդել է (1986-1988), աշխատել որպես միջազգայնագիտության ֆակուլտետի դեկանի օգնական (1988-1989): 1989 թվականի ամռանը նա Սթենֆորդի համալսարանի Հուվերյան ինստիտուտի աշխատակից էր (ԱՄՆ Պետդեպարտամենտի Title VIII ծրագրի շրջանակներում)։ 1990-1996 թվականներին աշխատել է Սանտա Մոնիկայի RAND Corporation- ում՝ որպես ասոցացված քաղաքագետ և դասախոսել Լոս Անջելեսի Կալիֆոռնիայի համալսարանում (UCLA):

1998-ից 2001 թվականներին Քեշիշյանը եղել է UCLA-ի Գուստավ Է. ֆոն Գրունեբաումի անվան Մերձավոր Արևելքի ուսումնասիրությունների կենտրոնի աշխատակից և այդ ընթացքում ստացել է Սմիթ Ռիչարդսոն հիմնադրամի դրամաշնորհը (1998-1999)՝ «Իրավահաջորդությունը Սաուդյան Արաբիայում» աշխատությունը գրելու և Beirut and London : Dar Al Saqi աշխատությունը արաբերեն թարգմանելու համար։

2008 թվականին նա հրատարակել է երկու ուսումնասիրություն՝ « Իշխանությունը և իրավահաջորդությունը արաբական միապետություններում» և Ֆայսալ. Սաուդյան Արաբիայի թագավորը։ Վերջին շրջանում նրա հրատարակած երկերից հիշարժան է հատկապես «Իրավական և քաղաքական բարեփոխումները Սաուդյան Արաբիայում» աշխատությունը, որը լույս է ընծայվել Ռութլեջի կողմից 2012 թվականի դեկտեմբերին։ Դրանից երկու տարի անց հրատարակել է Ֆայսալի ուղեկից հատորը «Իֆֆաթ Ալ Թունայան. Արաբական թագուհին» գրքում (Լոնդոն։ Սասեքսի ակադեմիական մամուլ, 2014)։
