Sitting on Top of the World
Sitting on Top of the World (նաև արտաբերվում է որպես Sittin' on Top of the World), ֆոլկ բլյուզային երգ, որը գրվել է Ուոլտեր Վինսոնի և Լոնի Չեթմոնի կողմից, որոնք 1930-ական թվականներին հայտնի քանթրի բյուզային Mississippi Sheiks խմբի հիմնական անդամներն են եղել։ Առաջին անգամ երգը ձայնագրվել է Mississippi Sheiks-ի կողմից 1930 թվականին (Okeh Records լեյբլում)՝ դառնալով խմբի իրական հիթ, իսկ 2008 թվականին երգն ընդգրկվել է Գրեմմիի փառքի սրահում[1]։

1930 թվականի մայիսին Չարլի Փեթոնը ձայնագրել է երգի իր տարբերակը (փոփոխված տեքստով և «Some Summer Day» անունով[2]։ Հաջորդ տարիների ընթացքում երգի քավեր տարբերակներ են ստեղծել մի շարք երգիչներ. դուետ The Two Poor Boys-ը, Դոկ Ուոթսոնը, Բիգ Բիլ Բունզին, Սեմ Քոլինսը, Միլթոն Բրաունը և Բոբ Ուիլսւ։ Bluebird Records-ում Միլթոն Բրաունի տարբերակի ձայնագրությունից հետո երգը դարձել է արևմտյան սվինգային խմբերի երգացանկի հիմնական համարըпесня стала основным номером в репертуаре западных свинговых бэндов[3]: «Sitting on Top of the World» երգը համարվում է բլյուզային ստանդարտ։ Գոյություն ունեն երգի մի շարք տարբերակներ՝ տարատեսակ ոճերում. ֆոլկ, блюз, քանթրի, բլյուգրաս, ռոք։
