Լայն ճանաչում է ստացել որպես երեխաների համար« ValueTales» գրքերի շարքի և The New York Times-ի բեսթսելերների ու Publishers Weekly վավերագրական գրականության ցանկում ընդգրկված մոտիվացնող «Ո՞ւր է իմ պանիրը» գրքի հեղինակ։ Նա նաև «Այո կամ Ոչ։ Լավագույն որոշումների ուղեցույց» գրքի հեղինակն է։ Կառավարման փորձագետ և գրող Քենեթ Բլանշարի հետ համահեղինակությամբ պատրաստել է «Մենեջեր մեկ րոպեում» գրքերի շարքը։ Ջոնսոնի գրքերը թարգմանվել են 26 լեզվով։

Կենսագրություն

Ծնվել է 1938 թվականի նոյեմբերի 2-ին Միտչել (Հարավային Դակոտա) քաղաքում։

1957 թվականին ավարտել է Լոս Անջելեսի՝ Շերման Օուքս արվարձանում գտնվող Նոտր-Դամսի միջնակարգ դպրոցը։

1963 թվականին Հարավային Կալիֆոռնիայի համալսարանում ստացել է հոգեբանության գծով հումանիտար գիտությունների բակալավրի աստիճան։

Իռլանդիայի թագավորական վիրաբուժական քոլեջում ստացել է բժշկության դոկտորի աստիճան։ Բժշկական պրակտիկա է անցել Մայոյի կլինիկայում և Հարվարդի բժշկական դպրոցում։
