Change of country name

The optional 6th parameter sort key can also be used to override the country name in the parent category, "Establishments in 'X' by decade".

This is useful where a country has changed its name, and the only parent category by decade uses the new name.

As of September 2015 this is a new feature. Please leave a note at Template talk:EstcatCountry if you use this parameter, in case it changes.

Example

{{EstcatCountryDecade|19|2|20th|Siam|Siam|Thailand}}

The parent categories will be Category:Establishments in Thailand by decade, but still Category:20th-century establishments in Siam.

Where a different result is desired, it may be best to create a specific template like those in Category:20th-century establishments templates by country.

Disambiguation

If the country name used in the category title is ambiguous, use the optional named dab parameter to link to the mainspace article about the country.
