Փհենչհանը գտնվում է տաք-ամառային խոնավ մայրցամաքային կլիմայական գոտում (ըստ [[Կյոպպենի կլիմաների դասակարգում|Կյոպպենի կլիմաների դասակարգման]]՝ Dwb)<ref name=Peel>{{cite journal |author1=Peel, M. Հյուսարևելյան քամիները բերում են առատ տեղումներ ամբողջ տարվա ընթացքում և հատկապե ամռանը։ Ձմռան ընացքում քամին փչում է Արևելյան ծովից, ինչի պատճառով առաջանում են ուժեղ ձնաբքեր։
 
Տարվա ամենատաք ամիսներն են հուլիսն ու օգոստոսը, ամենացուրտը՝ հունվարն ու փետրվարը։
