Ճրագախոտ (լատին․՝ Orobanche), կաղընձնի, առյուծախոտ, գայլի վիզ, ճրագախոտազգիների ընտանիքի միամյա կամ բազմամյա մակաբույծ, քլորոֆիլազուրկ խոտաբույսերի ցեղ։ Հայտնի է 79[1] տեսակ։

Ցողունը հաստ է, մսոտ, դեղնավուն, կապտագույն, բաց դարչնագույն՝ պատված մանր ու նուրբ թեփուկներով, որոնք հետզարգացած տերևների հետքեր են, հաճախ՝ ճյուղավորվող, հիմքում՝ պալարանման, բարձրանում է՝ 10-60 սմ։ Ծաղկաբույլը ողկուզանման է կամ ճռճռուկ ճուռակախոտ մազմզոտ ճրագախոտ Մակարդախոտ հասկանման, ծաղիկները՝ սպիտակա-դեղնավուն։ Ծաղկում է հուլիս-օգոստոսին։ Պտուղը կաշեկերպ, բազմասերմ տուփիկ է։ Սերմերը շատ մանր են։ Մոլախոտ է։

Տարածում խմբագրել

Տարածվում են Եվրոպայում, Ասիայում և Աֆրիկայում։

Տարածված է Տավուշի, Գեղարքունիքի, Կոտայքի, Սյունիքի և այլ մարզերում։ Աճում է քարքարոտ լեռնալանջերին, մարգագետիններում, անտառներում և այլն (ստորին լեռնայինից մինչև ալպյան գոտի)։ Խոտաբույսերի արմատների մակաբույծ է։
