Իշակաթնուկազգիներ (Euphorbiaceae), բույսերի ընտանիք է։ Իշակաթնուկազգիների մեծ մասը՝ ինչպես օրինակ Chrozophora tinctoria[4] խոտաբույսեր են, բայց որոշները՝ հատկապես արևադարձային գոտիներում հանդիպողները, թփեր են կամ ծառեր՝ ինչպես օրինակ Hevea brasiliensis[5]։ Որոշները՝ ինչպես օրինակ Euphorbia canariensis[6], սուկուլենտներ են և նման են կակտուսներին կոնվերգենտ էվոլյուցիայի հետևանքով[7]։
Իշակաթնուկազգիների ընտանիքը ծաղկավոր բույսերի ամենամեծ ընտանիքներից մեկն է, որի կազմի մեջ են մտնում 300 ավել ցեղ և 800 տեսակ[8]։
Իշակաթնուկազգիները տարածված են գրեթե բոլոր բնակլիմայական գոտիներում և ցուցաբերում են գրեթե բոլոր բույսերի աճի ձևերը։ Միայն Իշակաթնուկ (Euphorbia) ցեղի ներկայացուցիչները ներառում է միամյա բույսեր, բազմամյա բույսեր, ծառեր, սուկուլենտներ, C3, C4, և CAM տեսակներ[9]։
ՀՀ-ում հանդիպում են Իշակաթնուկազգիների ընտանիքին պատկանող 5 ցեղեր[10]՝ Andrachne, Chrozophora, Acalypha, Euphorbia, և Charnaesyce։
